“ Excellent dinner at L'Ancora! Our service was wonderful, given that we speak limited Italian, our server (likely the owner, as it is family run) had ample English to help us through ordering. We started with the Octopus 3 Ways for some adventure. I had never eaten octopus before, and this dish was more than enough to ease those inhibitions. It was DELICIOUS! We both went with pasta - mine with sea bass and shrimp with pistacchio and lemon, and my husband with a seafood mix tomato based sauce. Again, SO DELICIOUS! We felt too full for dessert, but when our host told us about the pannacotta, we had to try. I think you know the next words....SO DELICIOUS! Velvety smooth with a home made caramel sauce that I will remember for a while. All in all, a wonderful night. Parking was available on the street (free after 8pm) and there was indoor and outdoor seating available. ”
